March 15, 2022, at approximately 11:45 p.m., Solomon was driving his 2021 Kia K5 west on Jericho Turnpike at 100 mph, while highly intoxicated. He crashed into the back of Stanley Christopher Soobrian’s motorcycle, sending the victim into the defendant’s windshield, and wedging the motorcycle into the front of Solomon’s vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:57 p.m.

According to the District Attorney, Solomon had a Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of .23 approximately two hours after the crash. He was arrested a short distance from the scene.
