Empire State Ride to end cancer Syosset BoE elects new president, VP

On Thursday, July 6 the Syosset Central School District Board of Education held its annual reorganization meeting in the South Woods Middle School auditorium. By receiving a nomination and 5 supporting votes, Carol Cheng, who has served on Syosset’s Board of Education since July of 2017, earned the nod over the 2022-23 Board of Education President Tom Rotolo to serve as the Syosset School Board President this year.
The Town of Oyster Bay will work in partnership with Empire State Ride to host a charitable bike ride to benefit cancer research.
