A favorite book at Abbey Lane Elementary School in the Levittown Public School District will soon be decided after it faces off against other literary adventures in a March Madness bracket. Students in kindergarten through fifth grade are listening to a wide variety of books read by Levittown administrators and teachers throughout the month of March. After listening, they vote for their favorite between two books, with winners facing off the following weeks until a single favorite comes out on top. March Madness is part of a yearlong literacy initiative in Levittown elementary schools that helps students explore different books and genres and promotes a love of reading.
