Jesus said, “Come Peter.”

Jesus reached out to him and took his hand and said, “Peter, why do you have little faith? Why do you doubt?” Peter said, “Lord if it’s really you, let me come to you on the water.” Jesus said, “Don’t be afraid. It’s just me.”

Peter began to sink. “Help, I’m drowning,” he screamed.

It was still dark and Jesus went walking on the water. The disciples saw Jesus and thought He was a ghost. They cried out in fear.

Peter saw it was Jesus and he thought, “I want to walk on the water”. The boat was out in the middle of the lake.

Jesus saw they were having a hard time. The wind was against them. Then Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. Everything was going fine. But Peter became afraid of the wind.
