Why I design and my passion for storytelling:

Stories matter to me… we all have unique footprints, we all have unique stories, and no two are alike. We come into this world alone and leave with only our memories. It is important to embrace the imperfections of life and find the beauty in every story. I want to help memory keepers capture the memories of their lifetime, leave their footprints and leave evidence behind of a life well-lived.

Hi There! I am so happy you are here with me!!

Behind the computer and the lens...

I share my home with my husband of over 30 years and our 4 lovable rescue dogs. We live in Cypress, Texas which is about 30 miles NW of Houston. Meanwhile, our son is busy building his own life and I never knew how much enjoyment there would be in watching him take flight.

When I first started designing my son was in junior high… I was a busy wife and mom, and Little Feet Digital Designs was started from my love of scrapbooking, memory keeping, and photography of my son, family, and all the little things.

So much has changed over the years since I first started designing. When my son first left home for college I thought… well I guess that is it, end of the story.

But I was wrong.

Being an empty nester was a hard one for me. letting go was tough. But in the year or so that followed, I found myself on an often-times uncomfortable journey in self-discovery. But once I was able to lean into the emptiness, that’s when everything changed…that’s when I learned to see my life differently. A very big part of this journey was the revelation that there is more to me than my roles as a wife and mom. Learning to see that my nest wasn’t empty, but rather had a little growing room. So that’s what I’ve spent the past several years doing – growing, learning, exploring, trying, and enjoying my life. This now brings me to this current space.

Backpedaling a bit… I have a BFA in Graphic Arts and Advertising, a Master’s in Art History, and am a Summa Cum Laude graduate from Sam Houston State University. I am retired from a career in city politics, I used my minor - Public Relations - rather than my major (I was the one that was always behind the candidate). Due to the long hours and job demands, we decided that it was not a 'family friendly' career... so, we weighed all our options, and I was very blessed to be able to retire and concentrate on what truly are the most important things in my life... my family, my faith, my friends and my love of designing.

ABOUT ME

I started traditional scrapping in 1999, joined the digital scrapping world in April 2008, and in March of 2010 I started my own line of digital scrapbooking products - Little Feet Digital Designs. I absolutely love digital designing (my family said that since I spend so much time at my computer that it needed a name, so my son named it 'Sheldon'… I am currently on ‘Sheldon 2.0’). I love taking photos of anything and everything and love scrapping those little moments in life that mean so much!!

Little Feet Digital Designs is a custom design scrapbook service, specializing in creating beautiful, one-of-a-kind scrapbook kits that help you preserve your photos, memories, and stories for generations. Our photos are some of the most precious things we have containing memories of our lifetime. Because I know your photos are special to you and your family and that there are many digital products for you to choose from, I would be honored if you let my custom designs help you take your photos out of the box and place them in a unique album.
