LIU faculty—industry leaders themselves—are available to provide VE students with comprehensive, hands-on support, ensuring they gain the skills and confidence to excel.

• VE CLASSROOM INSTRUCTION: Deans and faculty are available to visit VE classes in-person or virtually to share key business concepts and real-world skills.

• TEAM CONSULTATIONS: VE teams can receive expert consultations to perfect their business concept and pitch presentations, either in-person or virtually.

•VE-FOCUSED CAMPUS VISITS: Students gain valuable experience by shadowing Dean’s Scholars, attending business classes, and becoming Bloomberg certified in our state-of-the-art Financial Markets Lab.

This hands-on guidance equips VE students with the skills and connections they need to thrive in the business world.

An elite Student-Run Consulting Program that partners with high-profile clients, including Fortune 500 companies. Over the course of a semester, students work on complex, real-world projects, culminating innational and international presentations of their proposals to C-suite executives and board members.

FINANCIAL MARKET LABS

The Financial Market Labs, located at LIU’s Brooklyn and Post campuses, offer state-of-the-art “Trading Floor” environments, fully equipped with Bloomberg Terminals. Students gain access to the full range of Bloomberg Professional Services, providing them with real-time financial data and analytics.

Students earn Bloomberg Certification, enhancing their expertise and preparing them for success in global financial markets.

LIU INVESTMENT FUND

The LIU Investment Fund is a student-led initiative where student analysts manage an actual LIU endowment portfolio under the guidance of finance faculty and industry executives. Students gain hands-on experience in managing real money, learning valuable investment strategies without the associated risk.
