Computer science is a rapidly growing industry with projected growth of 30 percent by 2018 Few degrees offer as many career choices as computer science — every company and organization in the world has a team responsible for managing the computer hardware, digital network, information databases, security, and devices. Someone designs and programs the website, develops the software, and writes the codes that makes the program, app, or system function. Big data analysts discover trends that lead to health and humanitarian breakthroughs. An advanced degree in computer science offers valuable skills that are essential to the 21st century global marketplace.
