Strength Training for Beginners and Basic Strength Training Exercises
There are two things basic strength-training exercises do: number 1 is to help one lose weight, and number 2 is it also helps one become stronger. No matter which of the two is desired, basic strength training exercises has a huge role in anyone's exercise or training program. Before planning on doing basic strength training exercises, it would be advisable to check with one's physician if he is suitable to start training and lifting weights. If you don't check with your doctor right away make sure you don't go into the gym and really hurt yourself. It is best to slowly get into working out. Before getting started, one should know what type of program would be best for working out all his muscle groups in different days of the week. The best program would include one or two exercises intended for each group of muscles. These exercises are to be repeated 8-16 times. The most advisable number of repetitions for a beginner in basic Strength Training Exercises is to do 15-16 repetitions until he gets comfortable with the exercises and can feel himself gaining Strength. When this happens, he can move on to adding more weight while reducing the number of repetitions. If one would be doing his basic strength exercises at a gym, he may want to start with machines to have more stabilized movement. One important thing to remember after training is to always give oneself a chance to have a day's rest for recovery. For beginners, it often takes more than a day to be able to recover after their first workout. Often times the second day is actually worse then the first.
Another thing to remember about basic strength training exercises is that after completing a week of training, one should add a few pounds or 1 repetition to his exercise. Also, in the first few weeks of one's basic training exercises, one should focus on learning on how to properly execute the exercise and not on the amount of weight they are lifting. After all, one has plenty of time to build muscle with basic strength training exercises. If you are still not that well versed in selecting the appropriate basic training exercise for you, you can always hire a personal trainer. Just remember that when doing training, one should be able to work out all his muscle groups in about 6 weeks of consistent training.
