The key words that define this edition are prevention and care. On the one hand, the hurricane season begins next month and as the saying goes, “better safe than sorry”, the Doral Police Department offered us a series of measures that should be put into practice to prepare ourselves for the possibility of a natural disaster like a cyclone. On the other, it is also important to take care of our body, more specifically, our dental health. That is why we interview Dr. Odelsis Barrero who is the dentist in charge at Endless Smiles Co. Dr. Cristina Sabroso also spoke to us about the 5 most influential attitudes of parents. Odor control update: Multiple valid air, soil and water samples have been collected and sampling of some locations are being repeated for further data. These samples will be assessed by an expert in odor and toxicology. The anticipated completion date for this study is June 30th with a final report presented at the August 2019 council meeting. Define an action plan with your family. If you decide not to evacuate you should have enough water, medicines, canned food, batteries, etc., to survive for 1 week and stay home until the hurricane passes. Test the operation of your electric generator. Secure important documents. Have cash on hand. Find out which supermarkets and service stations have electric generators. People with disabilities or medical conditions can enroll in a Miami-Dade County (MDC) list to evacuate first. Be on the lookout for designated MDC bus stop routes to evacuate. If you decide to stay in your home you should know that once the winds reach a certain strength, police and firefighters can not respond because they must also take refuge. They will heed your call once the storm passes. Be alert for shelters that will be open when there is an evacuation alert. Stay informed through applications and services such as 311, Doral Alerts, Ready MDC, Intelligence, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, among others. 1- Create leverage: Make the decision that something has to change now in your life. It’s imperative. Connect the pain with the meaning and consequences of your actions that cause damage in your life. 2- Interrupt the limiting pattern: Break with the association you have at this moment. Do it through questions that are completely different and have nothing to do with that parameter. It is like a disc that we have in our brain, a CD that we repeat and repeat and repeat that condition us positively and negatively.
1- Crea un apalancamiento: Toma la decisión de que algo tiene que cambiar ahora en tu vida. Es imperativo. 2oz. Tequila 1oz. Cointreau 1oz. Lime Juice Lime wedges and salt for garnish
DIRECTIONS 1. F ill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the tequila, Cointreau and lime juice. 2. Hold a cocktail glass upside down, dip rim into salt. 3. Shake and straight drink into glass. 4. Decorate with lime wedges.

INGREDIENTS For meat: 2 lb. beef skirt ½ medium bell pepper ½ onion 2 cloves of garlic 2 tablespoons of beef powder broth 4 liters of water
For the stew: 4 tablespoons of oil 8 tablespoons of sauté 1 tablespoon of tomato paste 1 teaspoon of sugar 1 coriander branch to decorate
Para la carne: 2 lb de falda de res ½ pimentón mediano ½ cebolla 2 dientes de ajo 2 cucharadas de caldo de carne en polvo 4 litros de agua
Para el guiso: 4 cucharadas de aceite 8 cucharadas de sofrito 1 cucharada de pasta de tomate 1 cucharadita de azúcar 1 rama de cilantro para decorar
DIRECTIONS
PREPARACIÓN

Cook the meat cut into 4 fingers long pieces in a pot with 4 liters of boiling water seasoned with bell pepper, onion and garlic. Cook for 2 hours.
