Redrow home a TV star
A WIRRAL new homes’ development shone under a national spotlight last week when it was featured on Channel 4’s A Place in the Sun: Home or Away. The programme, which pits three UK properties against three overseas, featured a three bedroom showhome at Redrow’s Dibbin Brook development, in Bromborough. It was one of the options shown to last week’s featured homebuyers, Liverpool-born couple Tony and Karin, who were choosing whether to spend their retirement in Wirral, close to their family, or buy a new villa in southern Spain, where Karin’s sister has already settled. The couple viewed the three
bedroom Warwick show-home at Dibbin Brook with presenter Laura Hamilton and chose it as their favourite property of the three choices. They loved the contemporary kitchen and dining room and the spacious lounge but their favourite room was the master bedroom with the en-suite they were looking for. Anita Williams, sales director for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “We’re very proud of the quality of our new homes at Dibbin Brook and we were more than happy to welcome the film crew. We were delighted by how much Tony and Karin liked the Warwick showhome. It’s always a pleasure when we receive such positive feedback and for it to feature on national
television is a bonus.” Although the couple eventually chose Spain as their preferred location over the UK, the property at Dibbin Brook was described as their “clear favourite” in Wirral. Redrow has just three homes remaining for sale at Dibbin Brook, so if homebuyers liked what they saw on TV, they’ll need to act fast. Prices on the final three homes range from £215,995 to £269,995 and include a Warwick, like the one that featured on A Place in the Sun: Home or Away.
