Agency hits gold standard W
IRRAL based Karl Tatler Estate Agents & Lettings has once again won a top award at the Estate Agency of the Year Awards.
One of the largest residential sales and lettings agents in Wirral, Karl Tatler was up against 5,000 other offices at the awards ceremony in London. The company won gold for Best Small Northern Estate Agency of the Year for the sixth year running. Managing director Karl Tatler said: “We’re extremely proud to have won gold yet again at the industry’s most respected awards. These are the ‘Oscars’ of our industry, and winning gold for Best Small Northern Estate Agency of the Year for the sixth year running is an achievement unrivalled by another agent. It’s very satisfying to be recognised on a national level for consistency and excellence.”
Judged by an independent panel of industry experts and overseen by The Property Ombudsman Christopher Hamer, these national awards are recognised as the benchmark for excellence in estate agency. Now in its 10th year, the awards are established as the most sought-after and difficult to win in estate agency. Karl added: “2012 was an exciting and successful year for us. In addition to the opening of two new offices, our sales increased almost 40% on the previous year. We’re confident the next 12 months will continue in the same vein due to the drive, dedication and enthusiasm employed by everyone.” Peter Knight, chairman of Estate Agency Events, which organises the event, commented: “When we set up the awards 10 years ago, our goal was to encourage, identify, highlight, reward and promote best practice in
estate agency – a decade on we have a competition that is without question the most sought-after prize in the industry. ” Presented by Olympic and world championship swimmer Rebecca Addlington in December 2012, the awards were the culmination of a rigorous judging process. Carried out over four months, an extensive review of the entrants included hundreds of telephone interviews and mystery shopping exercises. The Estate Agency of the Year Awards and the Lettings Agency of the Year Awards are in association with The Sunday Times and The Times. At the 2012 lettings awards in the spring, Karl Tatler won gold for Best Northern Small Lettings Agency, silver for Best Property Management Agency, and bronze for Best Technology and Online Lettings Agency.
