You will find a number in brackets at the end of every street’s evaluation. This is the number of properties which have been sold in the street as listed by the land registry. It can only be used as a rough guide as to what the

average house in your street is worth now. If there have not been many properties sold in the street in the last few years, it’s likely that the value indicated is lower than the value today. You may also find that some streets in the list are marked “FVO”. This is where there have not been any property sales to give an average price. In addition, because of the changing nature of the property market, no list can ever be 100% accurate and we make no such claim for ours. First time buyers – is it too good to be true? I
