ESPITE launching at the height of the recession, an independent Wirral estate agent has flourished and is celebrating its second birthday.

Though many questioned the sense in opening an estate agency during one of the worst downturns in the property market in recent times, Lesley Hooks believed she could make the business a success and is thrilled that Lesley Hooks Estate Agents is celebrating its second birthday, having opened its doors in April 2011. Lesley said: “What a fantastic two years it’s been. The support I’ve had from local people has been outstanding, and we have gone from strength to strength. “From opening the doors two years ago with just one property,
