& EXPERIENCES Adventure

In the picture postcard of places to explore and adventures to have, Liverpool presents a brimming montage of experiences – spread out across both the CBD and the wider region, with something for all ages and interests.

Whether it’s shooting arrows on one side of the river, racing a ninja course on the other, or splashing your way in between, there’s something surprising to discover around every corner. In fact, that’s what we love about our region. You’ll find yourself experiencing things you didn’t even put near your bucket list – like a beginners archery session – all equipment supplied. Or like barefoot waterskiing on the river nearby (bring your own foot).

Love staying active? You’re never far from a walking track, cycle path, golf course, tennis court or exercise machine – and boaties can launch at Angle Park on

Chipping Norton Lake (with three other ramps on the north side), plus Davy Robinson Park and Sandy Point.

Meanwhile, families can let rip on the impressive water-activated playground in Bigge Park, adventure playground at Casula Parklands, plus mini golf and even remote control car racing. Prefer swimming or ice skating? We’ve got that covered too.

Or, perhaps your idea of a getaway experience means putting the ‘amp’ into ‘pampering’ by indulging in serious retail therapy or even actual massage therapy as you let the worries melt away.

Whatever your passion, we’ll not only fill it – we’ll find new ways to complement it!

Shop 'til you drop !

Shops are shops are shops, right? Nope, not here in Liverpool, where you’ll find some rare retail offerings just waiting to be discovered.

As we hinted at back on page 9, you’d be lying to yourself if you didn’t want to let a little Bollywood bling into your life. George Street is not only the place to secure a sassy, stylish, sequined sari – it’s also dripping with unique gold jewellery.

Or if tasty things are more what you're after, hit the CBD's authentic delis to load up on fresh produce, meats, breads, hummus and plenty more. Just don't forget to fuel your fun with a quality coffee or two from a local cafe along the way.
