The sessions range from brief introductions to the technical areas to in-depth specialist workshops. The following sessions are offered:
Qwork Day
This is a hands-on intensive day in which the students can specialise in a specific theatre production skill and work with an experienced practitioner on a project.
Workshops
In addition to seasonal activities we offer a range of workshops. These include: Theatrical Practitioners Genre and theatre styles Devising and creating a performance piece Approaches to writing an analytical theatre review
Tours
Visit the Everyman and the Playhouse, two contrasting theatre spaces. We offer: The General Tour A tour of either of the two theatres. Each theatre tour takes approximately 1 hour 45minutes. The tour allows access to Backstage and Front of House areas (where the workings of the theatres permit). The tour provides an insight into the history and the life of the theatres. Just the Job Tour A shorter tour but more information from Company Members who will tell you about their role and work in the theatre. Page to Stage (PTS) A highly entertaining workshop in which you learn about the process used by the Director and the Company to create a performance. The session can include practical activities and discussion, dependent on the approach of the Director.
