A pair of flushmates produced in the Lindell embryo program by the $20,000 Select Sires bull Coleman Regis 904. The donor dam was bred at Gardiner Angus Ranch in Kansas, and she is a double bred Rita by the Pathfinder Sire Rito 6I6 of 4B20 6807.

Great Young Bulls Come From Proven Cow Families A young bull caught our attention last year from the Select Sires line-up. His name was Coleman Regis 904. We knew that with the Donna cow family as the foundation of his pedigree he had to be a high maternal, efficient beef producer. Good friends such as Galen and Lori Fink and the late Bill Brooks propagated this cow family nearly twenty years ago, and it may be stronger than ever today. This last spring I was afforded the opportunity to travel to Montana in search of a new herd sire. I was extremely excited when I found Coleman Juneau 044. This bull is a soft-sided, deep-flanked extremely thick beef-machine. As a maternal brother to Regis from the great Donna cow family, we knew he would have the maternal background and performance that we wanted to complement our program. We believe the genetic potential in this calf will have a monumental impact on rebuilding this nation’s cowherd. We greatly appreciate the help of Larry Coleman, Buford Ranch, ZWT Ranch, and Double R Bar in joining us as partners in this great herd sire. We are very excited about the future potential of this young bull, and are eagerly awaiting this spring’s calf crop.
