From the South: Go North of Fontanelle on County Road N72 (Fontanelle Road) to 4-way stop (Canby). Turn left onto County Road G27 (160th St.). TERMS:
Terms of the sale are cash or check payable immediately upon conclusion of the sale and before the animals are moved. Cattle will sell under the standard terms and conditions as recommended by the American Angus Association.
LIABILITY AND INSURANCE:
Carstens Farms, Ltd. assume no liability for accidents or injuries that occur on the sale premises. It is recommended that buyers insure their purchases. The purchaser assumes the risk of death or injury to their livestock immediately after the purchase.
To the best of our knowledge all Angus bulls selling are genetic-defect free either by pedigree or test. Carstens Farms guarantees all bulls sold are fertile and sound breeders. If a bull is proven to not be a breeder, he may be returned if healthy and in adequate condition. The buyer may select a suitable replacement or receive credit at the nest sale for the purchase price minus any salvage value. At no time is Carstens Farms Ltd liable for more than the bull’s purchase price.
ALL BULLS ARE BVD & JOHNES FREE BULL CARE AND TRUCKING ARRANGEMENTS:
We believe that it is much better for you to take your bulls home sale day or shortly after. This allows the bulls to become acclimated to their new environment and new owners. A $150 per bull deduction will be subtracted from the price of all bulls taken home sale day. As a service to you, we will winter the bulls left at the farm free of charge until May 15, 2015. They will be semen checked and ready to be picked up by then. After the bulls are sold, they are your property and responsibility. We recommend mortality insurance for your bulls.
