Patriotic Stitchers

For Veterans Of The War Memorial Association

We are a nonprofit where volunteers make blankets for Veterans. Our volunteers are given the yarn and quilt kits to make these blankets for Veterans in hospice care. Blankets are given to Lebanon & Coatesville VA hospitals and hospices in Lancaster and York County.

PUBLISHER’S WELCOME

This is our 2023/2024 snapshot of Lancaster County. I have enjoyed visiting and getting to know the businesses in this guide and I know you will, too!

Six and a half years ago, I started this business with one goal in mind—to help small businesses and non-profits grow. I was determined to develop an affordable way for them to advertise and create the reach that they deserve. Today, my goal is still the same.

With current challenges for small businesses, like rising costs and labor shortages, I see businesses struggle, and unfortunately some close their doors. I ask myself, “What can I do to help? How can the readers of this guide help?”

First, continue to eat, shop, live, work, and play in your local community. And when you do, please share your experiences with others. On page 11 of this guide, you will find a list of FREE ways to support local businesses. You will be surprised at just how simple and easy it can be.

Thank you for paging through one or more of our four hard cover or digital guides. Our readership continues to grow, and I am proud to say we have reached readers in over 290 states and countries and close to 2,000 cities. Now get out there and visit a brick-and-mortar business today. And, as always, enjoy your next Live.Work.Play. adventure!

In gratitude, Christine Vasiliades
