LíVIA MILONE I’m Lívia, a 22 year old design student from Brazil in the 4th year at UNESP University, located in Bauru, SP. I’m intrigued by music, cinema, fashion, arts and cookery. I also enjoy traveling, knowing different cultures and meeting new people. My specialization at university is Product Design and I’m interested in furniture, fashion design, textiles, photography and conceptual design, but I’m always open to know other design fields. Lately I’ve been evolved with a research on creation and production processes in fashion and I have been part of an extension project for one year that developed shot films. My current goal is to make an exchange to expand my knowledge, my experience as a designer and as an international professional.

Drawings

BLACK AND WHITE 2011 Some observation drawings made in black and white.

Watercolours

Belong nowhere 2013 This was a watercolour series made as a personal project. It expresses distinct emotions thru fluid and organic forms.

Book

TROCA NECESSÁRIA 2013 “Troca Necessária” is a children’s book that was inspired by the art movement Cubism. Illustrations were designed and filled with paper cuts, glued in different levels creating an interesting texture and volume to the piece.

In collaboration with: Maria Gabriela, Angélica Porfirio

some inspirations and illustrations

“Mandolin and Guitar”- Pablo Picasso, 1924

Styling

true blue 2013 This is a personal project made in collaboration with a photographer. I made the makeup, styling and also modelling of this photo-shoot.

In collaboration with: Rosane Marques

Body Adornment

Mystic orient 2013 This body adornment collection was inspired by cultural elements of Egypt, Morocco and Libya. The pieces, beyond having the function of embellishment, investigate the concept of being ornamental and explore the feminine body shapes.

In collaboration with: Maria Gabriela, Letícia Panichi, Isabela Neves, Thaís Akina; Model: Angélica Porfirio

Clothing Design

longing for summer 2014 A vacation in a sunny beach was my inspiration when I draw this dress. It’s fluid and made of a light cotton cloth and has a vibrant and vivid pattern. I wanted a delicate look but with some strength to it so I mixed the fluid forms with the geometric pattern and bold makeup.

In collaboration with: LetĂcia Panichi, model: ThaĂs Akina

Clothing Design

transient 2013

In fashion there’s a common cycle where a lot of trends and pieces come and go, they're reinvented and redesigned, maybe in a new colour or in a different material. In transient this 2 piece look sewed in green serge, brings together a crop top and a godet skirt into a visual that refers to the 50’s. The make-up also remits to this decade but has a modern twist in it.

In collaboration with: Letícia Panichi, model: Thaís Akina.

Silverware Drying Holder

ALIEN 2013

The ideia here was to develop a functional object cut out on an acrylic sheet and only hold together by its own fits. We thought about several forms and how they would fit together, afterwards we choose the one that would better suit our needs and made it a silverware drying holder.

In collaboration with: ThaĂs Akina

Center Table

auriga 2013

In 1967, inspired by man’s arrival on the moon, Günther Beltzig designed Flöris chair. A durable and stackable chair molded in fiberglass and reinforced polyester. Auriga center table is inspired by Flöris forms, the table legs are made of polyester reinforced with fiber glass and the table top is made of transparent polyester sheets.

Wood Stool

CMYK 2013

For this academic project the proposal was to choose a theme, a typography and make a stool in a cube form. This cube stool made in MDF plate has a removable cover with a space to keep objects, a cushion and wheels to allow movement.

In collaboration with: Maria Gabriela Basile, Thais Akina and Isabela Neves.

Puzzle

tetra cabeça 2012 “Tetra-cabeça” Is a puzzle with pieces similar to the tetris game. It is meant to stimulate children’s cognition, visual perception and arouse interest about arts. In this model made out of MDF, the chosen paintings were “Bedroom in Arles” and “The Starry Night”, from the post-impressionist Dutch painter Van Gogh. This puzzle comes in a cotton bag and has two smaller cotton bags to keep the pieces.

In collaboration with: Maria Gabriela, Thaís Akina, Isabela Neves, Vinícius Oliveira

Urban Funiture

ilha 2013

Students should be able to connect with the environment to relax and encourage creativity. Having that in mind, this urban furniture set Ilha, composed by a bench and a lamp post, was created for a student ambience, being located in a university with the intention to promote users connection and be useful for campus activities. The bench has an aluminum frame and the seats are made of polyester reinforced with fiber glass. Its modules allow different configurations and interaction of user’s accommodation in the bench. It’s possible to avail from the different levels offered to do distinct activities; such as: read, study, use electronic gadgets or just sit and rest. In collaboration with: Paulo Kick

With aluminum frame and solar panels that feed the LEDs, the light lamps provide the lighting needed beyond offering switch plugs.

Bar

VERLAINE 2013 This multifunctional bar was projected for small apartments. It is a space that can be used as a bar, a place to meet friends, a cabinet to keep your kitchen utensils, bottles and drinking cups or just a place to have dinner. The table can be rotated to expand its area and can be adjusted to your needs.

In collaboration with: Paulo Kick

Foldable Squeeze

HEINEKEN 2013

A promotional item that would allow the user to drink on it and be distributed by a famous brand was the proposal of this project. Heineken was the chosen mark and since the brand sponsors music festivals, a foldable squeeze was the advertising item purposed. It has a plastic bag as a package and depending on the event the article could be customized with different images applied to it.
