Chamomile Iced-Tea For a delicate and delightful summer cooler, try this soothing Chamomile and lemon-flavoured iced-tea.
Ingredients
Method
6 cups of water
Bring 6 cups of water to a boil in a large pot over high heat. Remove pot from heat and stir in the chamomile and lemon verbena. Cover and steep for 10 minutes.
1/2 cup dried chamomile flowers 2 tablespoons dried lemon verbena leaves 1/3 cup raw honey
Meanwhile, place a large strainer lined with cheesecloth or a damp paper towel over another pot. Strain tea, pressing on the herbs to extract all liquid. Stir in honey until dissolved, and let the tea cool completely, about 1 hour. Fill four tall glasses with ice. Pour tea over ice and serve immediately. Serves 4
