Berry Crunch Smoothie Bowl A delicous (and healthy) breakfast berry smoothie bowl topped with goji berries,raspberry, blackberry, pumpkin, sunflower and chia seeds.

Ingredients

Method

1 cup chopped kale or baby spinach 1 tablespoon chia seeds 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of your choice) 1½ cups frozen mixed berries ½ frozen banana (you can use a regular banana, but then you may have to add some ice to your smoothie bowl) 1-2 teaspoons light agave (depending on how sweet you like things)

Place the kale or spinach, chia seeds and milk in a blender or food processor and puree until smooth, ensuring you don’t have any chunky, chewy greens in your smoothie bowl. Add the frozen mixed berries, banana and agave to the blender. Puree, scraping down the sides of the blender periodically, until relatively smooth. You won’t be drinking this through a straw, so a little texture is good!

Pour smoothie into a bowl and garnish with toppings of your choice. We suggest sliced banana, blueberries, strawberries, chia seeds, chopped almonds, unsweetened coconut shavings (raw or toasted) or granola. Serve immediately.

Put the sock on your hand so that your ďŹ ngers are in the toe and your thumb is in the heel. Test out making the puppet talk and take note of where its eyes will be. Use the needle and thread to sew on two buttons for eyes. Cut the wool to size for the sort of hair-do you want. Gather it together in the centre-part and wind a piece of wool around the middle to keep it all together in one hair-do. Glue the hair on using the centre-part to anchor it. When the glue is dry, make it more secure by sewing it to the sock in the same place. Characterise your puppets with different hair-dos: plaits, long hair, pigtails, a ponytail or maybe even a moustache.
