Its unique production process sees professional media mentors helping young writers, designers and creatives to produce credible content for their peers. Live was joined in 2009 by Live East and by a pilot of Live North with the Guardian. Now in 2010 Live is going London-wide.

Live Magazine is, first and foremost, a social enterprise with equally important social and business objectives and a commitment to producing a high quality commercial product. But, equally importantly, Live exists to help its readers and contributors to access new opportunities and live healthier, happier lives. We work with hundreds of young people every year, offering training, empowerment, advice, work experience, mentoring and contacts to every young people who takes part in the magazines. In the last twelve months, Live has helped over 90 young people – many from disadvantaged backgrounds back into work. u Although her only motivation for coming to LIVE initially was so that she could interview celebrities, she started writing music and book reviews, and before long was our Editor u So began Sian’s takeover of the journalism world! u Since flying the nest, Sian has continued to shine, and is never short of things to do – including her freelance writing, working as a Street Team Co-ordinator for Island Records, freelance PR, and she even has her own radio show!
