WELCOME BACK!
What’s that we hear in the distance? Is it… the sound of wellness events being announced in Hong Kong again?! We heard Kerry Hotel and beloved British athleisure brand Sweaty Betty have teamed up to offer a “yoga breakfast club” this spring! Every Saturday and Sunday until June 26, yogis can rock up and take part in a nourishing onehour yoga session (overlooking the harbour from Kerry’s undeniably prime vantage point), followed by a nutrient-dense, healthy breakfast set. Participants also receive a Sweaty Betty goodie bag and a $500 shopping voucher. It’s been a minute since we had an engagement to look forward to - so count us in for this fun-filled social event! Tickets are $400, and reservations are essential. Runs every weekend in June, from 10-12:30pm. Book tickets here: bit.ly/3sS5mBI.

SWEAT ESCAPE
Just like everyone else in Hong Kong, we’re over the moon that gyms are back in business! We’re especially keen to check out Project S, a brand new fitness studio in Sheung Wan that’s opening its doors this month. Founded by former ballerina Sarah Wersborg, Project S specialises in short yet challenging workouts that are designed to get you sweating. From a range of Les Mills workouts to the gym’s signature bootcamp, “Project Strong,” which blends a 25-minute strength workout followed by a 25-minute high-intensity spin, there are workouts for every level, including beginners. And the facilities are pretty lush too! Located in a bright and airy penthouse overlooking the harbour, the space feels almost spa-like, with gorgeous interiors and facilities. Classes start from $280 for drop-in, and first-timers get 2 passes for the price of one!

TOKEN OF LOVE
Love them or hate them, NFTs are everywhere these days. Short for “non-fungible tokens,” they’re limited edition digital artworks that are stored online, tradeable, and presumably gain value over time. Although there’s no shortage of them on the market, one collection caught our attention. CRYPTYQUES is a Hong Kong classic movie-themed NFT collectible launching in June. It’s created by legendary director and photographer Wing Shya (known for his work with Wong Kar-wai), and features iconic scenes from Hong Kong cinema. Think Tony Leung in “My Heart Is That Eternal Rose,” or Leslie Cheung in “Nomad.” The collection aims to get people revisiting these classic films, and celebrating the golden era of Hong Kong cinema. There are a total of 1,320 NFTs in this collection, and an additional 50 will be donated to raise money for Tung Wah Group of Hospitals.

GOING UP
Travel abroad
Sure, it may take months of planning and one week of hotel quarantine…but if it means we can finally hit up a Thai beach or European museum, we’re willing to sacrifice!
Pet adoption
With so many people relocating, there’s a glut of abandoned dogs and cats right now. Do yourself a favour and experience the lifechanging joy of pet ownership!
Staying out past 10
Clubs and bars are open again and honestly? We could take it or leave it!
Wine from the comfort of our sofa will never go out of style!
