Established in 1874, Grand County is located just 60 miles northwest of Denver and is home to Winter Park, Grand Lake, Granby, Fraser, Tabernash, and Kremmling. Grand County encompasses over 1,800 square miles of rolling meadows, river valleys, and spectacular mountains making this Colorado destination ideal for skiing, snowshoeing, fat biking, and snowmobiling.
The real estate market in Grand County remained strong in 2022, with the average sale price throughout the county up 20.8% and the total sales volume only down 0.2% when compared to 2021.
The highest priced property in Winter Park rang in at $3.8 million, compared to $2.8 million in 2021, which was a 31% increase. Granby’s average price jumped 19.2% to $748,164. The average price in Tabernash was $1.43 million, a 39.9% increase over the prior year.
Fraser had an average price of $1.02 million which reflected a 16.9% jump from 2021. With easy access to the Front Range, access to wilderness, and endless opportunities for outdoor recreation, many buyers are interested in Grand County’s communities.
