What Father's Day Picnic Where Wave Hill Treat dad to a day in the gardens. Wave Hill is a 28-Acre Public Garden and Cultural Center overlooking the Hudson River. In celebration of Father’s Day, they’re offering the very rare opportunity to picnic on the Wave Hill House Lawn. Bring your own feast or purchase a delicious picnic curated by Great Performances, featuring cedar plank salmon, fresh spring salads and delectable desserts. There’s also a special meal for junior gardeners (ages 7 and under) available! Start the day with community yoga at 10 AM, craft a special tree sculpture to hold photographs and drawings for dad between 10 AM - 1 PM, and enjoy your picnic and guided walks in the gardens all afternoon.
