is a life + style blog run by multi-passionate creative Lix Hewett. Through her website, she shares her personal style, fashion finds and ideas; her creative pursuits in photography, graphic design and modeling; her thoughts on the bits of media she consumes; and stories about her life — before and after her dream move to London. She also creates photojournalistic features on places, boutiques, restaurants and events, all with the aim of showcasing the busy, beautiful city she lives in.
receives 1,500 - 3,000 unique visitors per month and 7,000 - 9,000 views. The blog is followed by 700 people on Bloglovin and 200+ over Wordpress.com and RSS feeds. Most readers are young adult women from North America and the United Kingdom. Lix is — well, fond of social media. If she’s not on Twitter, chances are she’s asleep. She’s followed by over 2,000 people on this platform, regularly takes part in chats and encourages engagement and conversation.
Recently she’s fallen head over heels for Instagram, where she’s steadily growing her following — over 500 people see her pictures on their feed now — by posting lovely photos every day, participating in challenges and coming up with fun projects of her own. At the time of writing, she’s a third into wearing and sharing every piece of jewelry she owns. In addition to Twitter and Instagram, she loves to save interiors, design and photography inspiration on Pinterest — 600+ followers — and she’s got 900+ likers on her Facebook page.
Working with Lix isn’t limited to promotion on her blog and social media channels. She’s a professional freelance graphic designer, photographer and writer. She’s a regular contributor to photography website Photodoto and the style section of Groupon’s London City Guide. As a graphic designer, she specializes in print design — press packs and brochures and flyers and cards, oh my — but also designs logos and beautiful websites.
Lix is 25, originally from Spain, an expat who never felt very much at home in her country. She’s passionate about her work and passionate about media, and has been called 'refreshingly honest' many times.
In the time since A Classic Notion began, Lix has collaborated with House of Fraser, Joules, New Look, Avenue 32, b.young, Fransa, Firmoo, and SpecsPost, among other brands. She has designed for Lo Bosworth and photographed products for multiple Etsy-based brands, including successful knitwear shop Pixiebell.
Her photography work is mainly focused on commercial photography: products, places, fashion. She loves to combine her skills in projects, from photographing and designing look books to interviewing and shooting portraits and pieces at stores and events that she later shares on her blog accompanied by original writing. She’d like to go into wedding photography soon, even if she has to hire a 5D camera until she can afford her own.
Boutique, Restaurant and Event Features: Lix is always looking for wonderful places in London to showcase. Starting at £200, you can have Lix create a multimedia feature around your shop, eatery or event with professional photography, original writing, social media shoutouts, and an optional interview. Travel destination features are also available starting at £250/day and incur a travel fee.

Twitter Parties and Instagram Takeovers: Have Lix host a twitter chat for your brand, or take over your Instagram account for one day. Includes promotion of the event and original photography for Instagram. These services start at £200. Instagram takeovers may incur a travel fee and/or require product samples.
