Emily Rademacher Newspaper, magazine, banner ad
The Villager Nursery is the oldest local nusery in the Truckee, ca. area. Locally owned and managed, it is a business that is very comunity oriented, and the owners are nearly always there. They specialize in mountain plants (obviously), and gow many of their own plants in their greenhouse. They also sell house plants and garden maitanance supplies. This ad is attmepting to draw costumers in with promotional discounts on fruit trees and potting soil. I imagine they are attempting to minimize some of their inventory before the winter (and 5 feet of snow) arives. This ad is targeted to local homeowners, and gardening businesses. With the ad presented in Moonshine Ink, which is a very community based publication, it seems clear that locals are their main audience.

I will be using Hurculanum for emphasis because it is unusual, more natural, and clean.
I will be using Myriad Web Pro for content because of it’s readibilty at small sizes.
Graphic/photo works well for company. Hand writing font would have been a better choice for name of company. It has a more friendly feel. Hurculanum does not fit the feeling of the company. Try spacing this line of copy across word Villager. Use loose spacing.
