I was born in Nanjing in the east of China. From an early age, I liked drawing everything that I saw. I am really interested in fine art, and I have formally studied drawing sine I was 7 years old.My undergraduate major is animation, which gave me a lot of knowledge and skill. I wanted to be a successful designer, and I felt that I had a lack of experience in how to utilize all this know-ledge and skill. In 2010, our family moved to a big house, my mother and I designed the interior of this house, which was very inspiring for me. I think I am very interested about the interior design, but I dzo not have professional background about this field. I also wanted to know what the difference is between Western and Eastern culture. Therefore, upon graduating, I chose Interior Architecture when I applied toAcademy of Art. Time flies, and I have studied here two years. In this time, there are several skills I have developed that are important for the Interior. These are language skills. I can speak both Mandarin and English well. In addition, I also have acquired software skills, including proficiency in using Adobe Photoshops, Illustrator, and Indesign. Autodesk Revit, and 3D-MAX.

CONCEPT
My Concept is blossom and crystal. These two things always symbolize the supple and the flinty. The flower shows the curvilinear and upholstered. On the other hand, the crystal shows the rectilinear and hesitant. Therefore, the contrast are obvious. I will use these elements to design my space, make it strong and attractive.

FINISHPLAN
I chose the black marble and the wood as my main material. I use white marble as my tone to give the elegant feeling. The window display and the table display have been combined by black marble and wood, which gives a strong contrast. I use wood panel as my wall and the suspended ceiling. Above the suspended ceiling, I use concrete as my real ceiling.
CEILING PLAN
I chose five different types of light to decorate my retail store. LED spotlights are in the fitting area. Three different types of pendant are in the entrance space. Also I set the flower chandelier in the main display area to give the soft feeling. The pendants are all made by black iron. The linellae shape has very strong contrast with the flower pendant.

Sustainable Design Summit Building 3923 N Wolf Creek Dr. Eden, Utah 84310 Powder Mountain Town of Eden, Utah
CONCEPT
I chose the word “Facet” as my concept. The word “Facet” is related to the word “Face”, it also refers to one of the flat “Faces” of a diamond or other gems. We also can see “Facet” is a side or an aspect of something. As an apt metaphor for a different side of an idea, it has been seen evidently.

CONCEPT My concept of this project is The Palace Of Fine Art Theater, which is toned ancient European architecture. There are a lot of significative patterns on the column. Also, the sculpture and the ceiling are absorbing. Ornamentation includes Bruno Louis Zimm’s three repeating panels around the entablature of the dome, representing “The Struggle for the Beautiful”, symbolizing Greek culture. Ulric Ellerhusen supplied the weeping women atop the colonnade and the sculptured frieze and allegorical figures representing Contemplation, Wonderment and Meditation.
