TAKE FLIGHT
Celebrating the fluidity and drama of the human body, TWB opens the 2014.2015 season with Petite Mort: Masterworks by Kylián/van Manen/Wheeldon, featuring three of Europe’s most celebrated dance-makers. Based on Washington Irving’s atmospheric ghost story, Sleepy Hollow, will premiere in a lush NEW production with many of the forces that brought ALICE and Hemingway to life. Demanding technical perfection, grace and passion, Swan Lake is considered a great barometer for a ballet company and its dancers. We are excited to take on Swan Lake and push the boundaries of the company’s artistic growth. Spring sees the return of the Company’s most successful new work—ALICE (in wonderland).
