Team Capitol DC, U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon, Collaborated with George Washington and American Universities to design and build a net zero home for the Solar Decathlon 2013 in Irvine, California. Involved in the construction and competition portion of the Decathlon.

Foreign Studies Program, Paris, France,
A semester dedicated to studying the deeply rooted culture of Fashion and Architecture in Paris. Courses included history/theory, field sketching and studio. The final project was a fashion house and runway designed for a specific fashion designer who’s aesthetic merges the lines between architectural elements and fashion.

Walton Visiting Critic: Juhani Pallasmaa, Cultural/Sacred Space Studio,
Under the direction of Juhani Pallasmaa, the vertical studio consisted of Graduate and Undergraduate students centered around the sacredness of death and emotions in architecture. The final was a 20,000 sq feet burial chapel located in downtown DC.
Spring-2011
Foreign Studies Program, Barcelona, Spain, Selected based on exemplary academic performance. Studied the urban fabric, architectural development and culture of Barcelona and other European cities through courses in Urban Theory, Field Sketching and Spanish. The final project consisted of a 14,000 sq meter design collaborative examining the urban fabric of the developing Cerda block in the Poble Nou district.
