EXHALE Design solution for a corporate coworking office that is located on the first two floors of 135 West 18th Street. The workplace will occupy the entire first and second floor, totaling at approximately 17,000 USF. Exhale is a fast growing sports blog that has high hopes to inspire people to live a healthy and relaxing lifestyle. This blog features many different companies and products. Exhale also collaborates with other bloggers from around the world monthly. Many of the weekly posts include insight about apparel, workout routines, healthy eating, and lifestyle tips. This workspace is a great place for similar companies within the sports and lifestyle industry to present ideas to one another.

TOURNEAU My intention for this interior space was to use different types of display cases and architectural pieces to creat the sense of a modern gallery. The use of architectural screens and long display cases allow the visitors to wander the space to view the watches, just like one would observe art in a gallery of a museum.

FLAY RESIDENCE As I have been asked to re-design Mr. Bobby Flay’s kitchen and bathroom area I have taken his background into great consideration. His use of spanish flavor and his newly open Mediterranean restaurant in New York City, Gato inspired me to create a space for Mr. Flay that allowed for a relaxing, yet fun feel. I wanted to enhance his ability to create food for his friends and family in an environment that inspires his food. By doing so, I used a lot of bold color, natural stone and recycled wood to create this feel. The blue tone used throughout the kitchen is a reflection of the serene feeling from the Mediterranean sea. Throughout the kitchen there are plenty of storage areas for pots and pans along with extra refridgerator storage for fresh ingredients. Creating a custom island for My. Flay was a must have. It allows him to have a working station for cooking on an induction and electric cooktop. The idea of living in a green and sustainable space is also a factor to take into account when designing a new space for Mr. Flay.The theme of his spanish flavor use will be carried out through the entire kitchen.
