Cirque De Kaka and The Boom Booms

Costumes designed and created by Liz Sheard

Cirque de Kaka A run down, beat up travelling circus with a ring master, in his red velvet tail coat, clinging on to the glory days, bossing around his two fading stars as they try to impress the audience with their talentless attempt at ribbon dancing in an attempt to make money to buy food. A hilarious, silly and daft performance results in an enjoyable show for both adults and children.

Festival No 6 September 2014

Three vivacious, curvaceous, cake loving, larger than life show girls, “The Boom Booms” who cause havoc wherever they go. Roaming around festivals causing chaos and mischief in their fat suits adorned with sequins and feathers.

“Sunday: The attention, not to mention dignity, of the crowd is stolen by the BOOM BOOMS, a mischievous street theatre trio dressed in amazingly outlandish cabaret fat suits. Rubbing against classic British reserve - literally in some cases - these women leave a trail of chaos in their wake.” Bido Lito Magazine
