GETTING AROUND A free shuttle bus service will be available throughout the Open Day to transport you between the two campuses. The shuttle bus will depart from the Security Lodge at Byrom Street and by Smithfield Street (off Tithebarn Street) for City Campus and outside the Sports Building for Mount Pleasant Campus. The shuttle bus stops are shown on the map on page 37. Liverpool is a compact city making it really easy to get around on foot. If you would prefer to walk between the Mount Pleasant Campus and the City Campus, pick up a map and student helpers will also be on hand to provide directions.

LJMU Sports Building Our on-site Sports Building is part of LJMU’s multi-million pound development on Copperas Hill in Liverpool City Centre. The Sports Building includes an eight court sports hall, two multifunctional studio rooms and a two floor gym comprising of over 120 training stations complete with the latest Technogym Excite range. ljmu.ac.uk/ljmusport/ljmu-sport-building

Take a tour of LJMU’s flagship development: n The five-storey Student Life Building houses a range of student-facing services and study spaces. n The Sports Building includes an eight-court sports hall, two multi-purpose studio rooms and a state-of-the-art gym.
Each campus has its own library that provides specialist subject support. The Student Life Building also provides 24/7 access to library study space. This means that whatever and wherever you are studying, a library is close at hand. Tours of the Aldham Robarts Library (Mount Pleasant Campus) and Avril Robarts Library (City Campus) will take place at the following times.
