“To create beautiful architecture, function must become more than a simple spatial requirement. It must drive the forming process to reflect even the most intricate of movements performed by the client.

Symbiotic Harvest Final year design project Fenlands, UK

“Function, in every detail, may only succeed through socially conscious design, that in-turn can only be achieved from a response to a continual channel of information between the client, the site and the architect.

RE:animer ISOVER Multi-Comfort House National Student Competition Winner International competitor, Innsbruck, 2010

“As a profession, architecture must promote the creation of a sustainable built environment, that is environmentally responsible. This is no longer as simple as passive ventilation and reduced energy consumption. In fact, what is to stop a future structure actively assisting it’s locality rather than simply minimising it’s impact.”

Nottingham H.O.U.S.E. (Home Optimising the Use of Solar Energy) Solar Decathlon Europe, 2010

“I feel that my greatest strengths are, firstly my ability to have a clear understanding of the needs of the client. Secondly my technical mind and previous construction experience, that allow me to be excellent at problem solving through design and construction stages. Finally my passion to be involved and the satisfaction I gain from contributing towards a construction project that could

have a positive impact on peoples lives and the environment.
