Letter From Foundation Chair Letter From Administrator
Welcome to our 30th Anniversary Foundation Gala benefiting Loma Linda University Children's Hospital. Tonight, we come together to celebrate the power of dreams and their ability to inspire hope and create a brighter future for children facing health challenges. Whether it's a child's dream of getting better and going home, or the dream of becoming a doctor one day, we believe that we can help make these dreams a reality.
Through your unwavering support and generosity, we have been able to provide world-class medical treatment, support services, and compassionate care to children in need. The hospital's dedicated staff and volunteers work tirelessly to help these children overcome their illnesses and live fulfilling lives, and your support is essential in making their successes possible.
Tonight's event promises to be a night of hope and inspiration, as we celebrate the resilience of the human spirit and the power of dreams. Thank you for your attendance and for your continued help as we continue to make dreams come true for the children in our hospital.
Sincerely,
Candace Spiel Chair

Dear Friends,
Welcome to the Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital
30th Anniversary Foundation Gala, Dreams Do Come True. We are honored to share our special celebration with each of you tonight.
This year’s gala focuses on recognizing all those that have helped us achieve our goals since we opened our doors in 1993 and on dreaming of a future of even greater hope and healing for the children and families of our communities.
Some of the most significant moments in people’s lives happen in a hospital and many of those moments are yet to come. I consider it an immense privilege for our children’s hospital to be ready for those times and to work alongside our medical professionals as they demonstrate skill, expertise and compassion for those who need it the most.
For an incredible 30 years, Loma Linda University Children's Hospital has offered a whole child healing environment focused on patient safety, quality and clinical innovation. Our new Children’s Hospital tower in the Dennis and Carol Troesh Medical Campus features all private patient rooms, new CATH labs, a pediatric dedicated emergency department and the San Manuel Maternity Pavilion. We continue to dream for the future and strive to provide the best medical care for the children, mothers and families of our region.
Last December, we received our fifth recognition by The Leapfrog Group as a nationally ranked Top Children's Hospital. This designation highlights our commitment to consistently provide a safe environment and deliver the highest quality care to mothers and children. We feel honored to be one of only 12 children's hospitals across the country to receive this designation. In addition to this award, we have also been recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a “Best Children’s Hospital” in cardiology and heart surgery, neonatology and nephrology, and by Newsweek as a “Best Maternity Hospital.”
From well-check visits to broken bones, and from heartbreaking diagnoses to extended hospital stays, you are part of a care team that inspires, reaches, imagines, elevates, soars and dreams, and we are honored to serve alongside you.
