Exhibitions

In their Footsteps Until 8 Jan

For All Seasons Friday 10 February – 28 August 2017

The First World War was conflict on a massive scale, involving millions of people. It had a lasting impact on the lives and relationships of those involved, both at home and away. Curated by our group of 14-24 year old curators, The Preservative Party, with support from the West Yorkshire Archive service this exhibition uses objects, diaries and letters to explore how the lives of people from Leeds were affected during the First World War.

Whatever the weather, come and explore how the world around us changes with the seasons. From sunny summery days to the cold chill of winter, this exhibition takes a look at how people and animals respond to the challenges of our weather! With lots of hands-on activities there’s plenty for all the family. Don’t forget to check out our exciting programme of events too.
