WHO WE ARE

Founded in 2004, “Visão Rural”, is a Brazilian company located in the North of the country. It was established in the market to strengthen the rural sector, aiming at productive growth, financial and economic improvement and rural technical assistance for rural producers, in addition to being a link in the promotion of investment and costing credits. “Visão Rural”, is specialized in the preparation and assistance of agricultural projects to obtain rural credit, seeking to identify opportunities,

minimize and control risks and optimize results. The company’s main objective is to promote agribusiness with sustainability and preservation of the environment, improving the economy by generating income and quality of life. “Visão Rural”, expanded its business to export custom furniture made from Teak wood. The commercialization of wood comes from in land reforestation in the state of Mato Grosso.

Teca Wood Teak Wood comes from a tree known as “Tectona Grandi” that can reach up to 50 meters in height. It is characterized by a very particular color, of brown with coppery nuance. It is mainly characteristic of forests located in the Asian region of the planet. Originally, Teak was used to manufacture boats, due to its very high quality and durability, including high resistance to damage caused by humidity. Teak Wood has become increasingly famous in the manufacturing universe of furniture and decorative objects for its excellent quality. Teak has three main components that, combined, make it unique: tectoquinone, rubber and silica. Tectoquinone, is a kind of natural pesticide that

makes wood less attractive to parasites such as termites, fungi and ants. This component is very welcome in furniture and interior floors. The rubber acts like latex, that not only prevents excess moisture from penetrating but also, prevents the wood from drying out, keeping it lubricated and resistant to abrasion. That is why teak is so popular in the construction of boats, pool decks and outdoor furniture. Silica, gives it strength, which makes its not only useful but also superior to many other woods. Despite these characteristics, Teak also has lightness and flexibility.
