NativeAmericans Diet and Indigenous Cuisine
MUWEKMAOHLONE TRIBE
The old saying that we are what we eat still holds. Unfortunately in the U.S., our diets are becoming increasingly unhealthy and unsustainable.
That is reflected in the obesity and diabetes epidemics we are facing and its ramifications which have spread to all parts of our lives and society.

Adding traditional NativeAmerican foods to our diets will not only give people new flavors to enjoy, but it will also help bring about a return to the kind of good health that the original inhabitants of this land are known to have enjoyed.
