Tips to keep the brain healthy

Diet – Intake of green leafy vegetables, fruits, foods rich in antioxidants, pulses and nuts are recommended.
Sleep – Both the quality and quantity of sleep should be maintained to the right standard.

Emotional health – Quality time should be spent with the family and loved ones.
Positivity –Training the mind to look at everything in a positive light can help with brain health.
Health checkup –The integrity of the blood vessels supplying blood to the brain should also be checked. For this, regular checkups with neurology doctors can help. If you have high BP,cholesterol or diabetes, checkups should be done more frequently and medications for these complications should be taken regularly.
Avoid smoking and take alcohol in moderation.
