Simple Black Bean Soup

INGREDIENTS
1 15 oz can refried black beans
2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
1/2 cup sweet corn, frozen or fresh
1/2 cup chopped tomatoes or your favorite salsa
1 Tbsp taco seasoning (chili powder, cumin, garlic, paprika, crushed red pepper)
Optional toppings: green onions, shredded cheese, or sour cream
DIRECTIONS
Combine refried black beans and broth in a 2 quart saucepan over medium heat. Stir until well combined. Add all other ingredients. Stir until taco seasoning is fully incorporated. Heat until soup reaches a low simmer. That's it! This recipe is easy, fast, and naturally low in fat.
