“Screen” time you can feel good about:
Carol Fernandez and Fernando Castro, founders of the Peruvian screen printing collective Amapolay, will be back in Santa Fe and participating in the 16th Annual International Folk Art Market July 12, 13 and 14. The Lima, Peru-based collective uses screen-printing—a technique with ancient origins—along with deeply traditional motifs and references rendered in eyecatching color and scale—to raise awareness about Lima’s now-urban indigenous populations. In the meantime, check out the Gráfica Popular work of these socially engaged artists in the Museum of International Folk Art exhibitions, Crafting Memory: The Art of Community in Peru and Community Through Making from Peru to New Mexico. By museum admission. Free to NM residents, children 16 and under and museum members always free! www.museumfoundation.org/join Enjoy bistro dining with a view at Museum Hill Café
Purchase a brick for just $250. It will be inscribed with your name and placed permanently in the courtyard of the new Vladem Contemporary. Permanent recognition on a brick is a great way to honor a family member or friend. Brick by brick, we can all make the Vladem Contemporary a reality.
PURCHASE A BRICK TODAY AT:

CHEF NINI NGUYEN You may remember her from the last season of Top Chef. Now, we are excited to welcome Chef Nini Nguyen to Los Poblanos to showcase her talents here in the Rio Grande River Valley. Hailing from New Orleans, Chef Nini Nguyen is the daughter of Vietnamese immigrants, and she embraces both culinary influences in her cooking style. Her career spans from SucrĂŠ and Coquette, specializing in pastries to Eleven Madison Park, nationwide at Dinner Lab and beyond. We are eagerly anticipating the special menu she will craft in partnership with our award-winning culinary team and are thrilled to present this chance-of-a-lifetime dining event.
