Osvaldo Bisquertt Reveco quien plantó las primeras vides en 1974, en el valle de colchagua. Mr. Bisquertt has been recognized as a pioneer in planting in the prestigious Marchigüe area, next to the Pacific Ocean, in the Colchagua Valley.

BISQUERTT Bisquertt is a family company belonging to the Bisquertt family and is currently one of the most prestigious vineyards in Chile. Colchagua, its place of origin and where all of its plantations are to be found is now considered to be one of the best valleys in the world for the production of Premium wines. The qualities of its wines are recognized in over 30 countries and its portfolio is backed up by over 300 important national and international awards. All wines are Estate Bottled and produced by The Bisquertt family from the Colchagua Valley. Viña Bisquertt was founded in 1978 by Osvaldo Bisquertt Reveco, who planted his first vines in the Rinconada vineyard adjacent to some of the best known vineyards in Chile in 1974. Today, Bisquertt is managed by Osvaldo’s sons and a team of expert oenologists led by Joana Pereira, who is dedicated to producing fresh, well-balanced and elegant wines that are representative of the Colchagua style.


TERROIR The Terroir concept is defined as a limited space where conditions of soil, climate, topography and vine-harvest handling are mixed, thus permitting to obtain qualities with very specific characteristics , sustainable throughout time and with a differentiated personality for every grapevine stock. Therefore, and based upon historical records the terroir program implemented by the vineyard found these locations in the farms “El Rulo” and “El Chequén”. The increase in qualities obtained from these fields during the last years may be observed a growth in Reserve and Premium qualities, named Q-Clay, Quaternary Clays. These classifications have been obtained through studies carried out during previous years, vigor photographs, separation of quarters, handling of organic and inorganic fertilization, specific canopy work for each variety, changes in watering methodology and sector handling of harvesting zones carried out by tasting of berries during harvesting seasons together with Oenology.

Felipe de Solminihac

Felipe, a former student of the San Ignacio School, is an Agronomist winemaker and a graduate of the Catholic University of Chile with a specialization and distinction in fruit Vituculture and Enology. Later he studied at the Universit’e de Bordeaux, with distinction in: Diplome National d-oenologues Diplome d’Etudes Ampélologique National Diplome en Sciences de la Vigne In the path of consulting he met Mr. Osvaldo Bisquertt, wich gives him full confidence to provide advice to Bisquertt today. Felipe’s successors reconfirm his experience and style, with the group of winemakers led by Joanna Pereira. Current Director and vice President of the Chilean Wine Corporation.

Joanna Pereira

Joanna studied Agriculture Engineering and specialized in winemaking in Concepción, Chile. Afterwards she did various post title diplomas such us Technologies Et wine production in renowned Universities in Santago, Chile. Since 1998 Joanna has develop her career as winemaker mainly at Viña Bisquertt in the Colchagua region in Chile. At the same time she has participated in various wine panels, new projects in the wine industry and has act as jury in reputated wine tournaments in Chile and Brazil. Trough different technical visits to California, France and other wine regions she has acquired different visions in winemaking process. Joanna is currently Head winemaker and Prouction Manager at Viña Bisquertt where she has gained high recognition for her wines from he most prestigious wine magazines in the world.


This unique wine is a faithful expression of the exceptional Colchagua terroir. Rigourously selected zones carefully tended by expert hands produce our Ultra Premium wine, that is a genuine expression of nature. Deep ruby red hues with slight tones of red clay on the rim. Complex aromas on a fruit based line that delivers hints of ripe red berries and cherry liqueur .The palate is soft and round, full-bodied, and very rich in structure due to its firm and sweet tannins. Notes of blueberry jam and spice, with layers of mocha and chocolate on the finish.
