It’s easy to feel lost while figuring out where to go and what path to follow to continue our story; there are too many variables to consider.

ORDERING AT NARPY'S "CAFE" Calling all coffee lovers. Grab your latte, hot chocolate with whip cream and caramel drizzle, and step into Narpy's sweet-sounding album, Café The doors to Café open up with a warm welcome as we're greeted with a gentle, soft chord progression fading in as we order our first beverage, "iced tea". We're invited on a romantic "Coffee date" with a lovely guitar sample. As we order our next drinks, a "mocha" and "latte" with "caramel", we can't help but enjoy the view outside the shop. It looks like birds have perched on a tree, chirping at their heart's content. Before the date is over, we grab a cup of "milk" to enjoy the complimentary "muffins" and "cookies" as we sit back and reminisce about spring. Might as well take one for the road as we exit, thanking the owner of the café as they ask us to please "come again". This album has a sweetness to it that'll leave you wanting to revisit it over and over again. Smooth rhythmic guitar samples, warm drum patterns, and a splash of naturistic elements give this album the same sensation you get when you eat a warm chocolate chip cookie that's been dipped in milk; oozing rich sweetness like never before. Tap in, grab your favorite pastry and beverage, and enjoy. Tell Narpy we sent you.

PLACE OF REFUGE She said it can be anywhere. Her favorite spot in the house ranged from her room to her bathroom, the unfinished basement, or sometimes the closet on those rough days. On other days, it ain't even her house. For the most part, she says it's with her friends no matter where they are; a neighborhood park, their favorite bench by the pond, or the gazebo at the back of the public library where birds flock to. To her, her place of refuge isn't just anywhere but everywhere. Our refuge is a sacred place to us all and it tends to be one specific place. We get a little fidgety or a bit cautious when uninvited guests come and stop by and we try to protect it as best as we can. Even with the few who might get an invitation into our fortress of solitude, we ask kindly for them to respect it. It's our safe haven; it's our home.

9

But she can't fathom having only one place to call home. In her mind, her home all depends on where she is and what moment in time she is in. It all played a factor. She told us that most of us search for our Garden of Eden but she never left hers. It may not make sense to any of us but it didn't have to. Yeah, she's quite confusing so we had the honor of asking her to explain. Wherever you find your mind to be at ease, the environment around you becomes your home. That way, you don't feel suffocated or confined within a four-wall space. She said loneliness is less likely to creep in. Your favorite people are more than welcome to join in and it doesn't feel invasive because it's open. Everyone is free to come through, chill and have a good time. Who wouldn't want this moment? And so, every day she chases after it.

She chases after peace and comfort while running away from stress and distractions. It's a motto she decided to live by a long time ago. She understood how fleeting peace and comfort can be sometimes so she stopped waiting for the right situation; for everything to line up the way she wants it. We don't have as much control as we'd like, even in our own homes so she chose to let go; she chose to be free. And so she embraces the concept of recreating the same blissful moments everywhere she goes. That way, she'll always be at home. Leaving her place of solitude to be at home with her friends, family and the world itself was an idea she fell in love with. She didn't want to create a place of refuge in response to her bitterness and anger toward the world. She wanted the same environment that encouraged her to grow and develop and she couldn't find it by residing inside a building all the time.

10

The last thing she told us to do was to chase after our hearts to feel the most at home wherever we are. Then, no matter who we are with or what others have to say, we can truly be at peace. Wherever your heart is the most content, kick your feet up, grab a nice cold beverage, and some snacks, and get comfortable because guess what? You are home.

DE-STRESS TIPS Life can get real tough. Here are some helpful tips and reminders to help you see it through. Light a candle and close your eyes. A nice-smelling candle or incense does wonders. It's something we just started to try and honestly, it helps a lot. Who knows, maybe we'll try aroma therapy next. Try it out for yourself and see how you feel.

as you allow your mind to daydream for a bit. Nature has a powerful effect on us. You ever just look at some trees on a sunny day and think 'wow, look at those pretty ass trees'? Find a park nearby and observe or go on an adventure. You might feel connected to something bigger. The outdoors can help melt life's problems away, even if it's only temporary.

Got a favorite snack? Indulge. Need we say more? Someone give us a large bag of skittles or sweat & salty popcorn and we're good.

Take a deep breath, this is temporary. This goes hand in hand with everything else. Pause; we're always in gomode and eventually, that burnout creeps up on us. Take a break y'all, it's all good. This moment will pass.

Throw on them lofi beats. Having music playing in the background fills the void with little to no distractions. We highly recommend you choose music with ambiance or without any lyrics but to each its own, as long
