I would like to express my gratitude to the chief architect Ar. Shekhar Shinde who has given me the chance and opportunity to work in this company during my five-months duration of internship. I sincerely thank Ar. Shekhar Shinde for offering me the intern position and Ar. Ashish Kulkarni, Ar. Raj Shitole for guiding me and helping throughout the training period. Under their guidance and supervision. I have broadened my understanding of how does an architecture firm works in real life. Besides I would like to give my appreciation to my colleagues, who have spent their time and effort to teach and guide me throughout the time that I have been here .They have been knowledgeable in their field and did not hesitate to share them with me. Further on I would like to thank the staff members and other interns who made this demanding time joyful but always efficient.



THE TYPE OF OFFICE I WORKED IN: IN TERMS OF SCALE, TYPES OF PROJECTS, METHODOLOGY & DESIGN APPROACH The office consisted of owner. Ar. Shekhar Shinde and interns. It provides the services of architecture, interior design and visualization projects. The office takes on tasks every size, from small private design tasks to large mixed use buildings. METHODOLOGY Site analysis and data collection-Firstly, after the project is accepted, site visit is the initial steps, which include survey and collection of data. Conceptual sketches and design-After initial meeting with the client, the requirements and the desire of clients are listed down. Then conceptual sketches and basic 3d models are prepared, exploring the various approaches and possibilities of design and fulfilling the requirements of the client and the site. Final visualization of the project - With discussion with the client, the design is finalized Necessary sketches. elevations. 3D models, and views are prepared Working drawings preparations-Once the design Finalized, detail working drawings are prepared. These drawings include column lay outs, false ceiling, electrical drawings, elevations, details furniture drawings etc. Site supervision and completion ABOUT THE OFFICE-IN TERMS OF OFFICE ENVIROMENT interns are able to get involved in different areas from schematic design to project administrator to 3D modelling so that more exposures are allowed. During lockdown we used to have online meetings on Skype, to dis cuss various projects and current developments. As the work done and files of different projects were stored or shared cloud so they were easily accessible to all the employees. Each of the inters were given different project to handle. We used to keep track of all the progress related to that project, and assign drawings and other work related to that project to other employees All the drawings were checked by the principal architects before sending it to the site or the clients.
