ocated in the city Guangzhou which was found in 214 BC, Baiyun mountain has been along with the city for thousand years, is the highest mountain in the city. It is the best preserved natural reserve for plants since ancient times in Guangzhou. Now it become a park for people to unwind themself from daily work. The plants in the conservation area are diverse. The government gives a lot funding to keep plants healthy every year. On the other hand, the virgin forests could be better used to achieve a virtuous economic cycle.

ome area of the mountain has develped for people to walk around. But no one will stay in the forest after sunset. A tree house here will provide an extreme poetical experience for the tourist to have a wonderful night in the natural environment.

Conceptions of Nest
T
his area is called 'cloud staircase'. In some days in a year, the mountain is covered by fog. When you walk in you feels like walking in the cloud. But most of the time it is sunny and clouds are under your feet. You stand upon the clouds, and have an amazing overview to the city of Guangzhou.
Due to the amazing view, the best way is to create a tree house face to the view in the edge of the hill.

s a part of nature, flying creature use different materials to create a nest as a house. To fit with the environment in the hill, a nest will be considered to be used as the shape of tree house.

exagon awlays knowed as the most perfect structure. The regular dodecahedron, as a projection of hexagon in 3D, can provide a natural, structured for the tree house. It is easy to be built and maintained.

he way the tree house structure is par tially supported by trees. Three wooden column are standing as a triangle. The small hanging dodecahedron is for sotrage and child sleep. First floor is for washing, second for living and top for sleeping. Two windows on roof top can see the overview of the city.

Framing The branch of tree is complex. To fit the dodecahedron up on the tree, some places should have concession for the branches which will cross the body of the tree house. Three timber pipe support will be considered

he whole strucutre will be supported by timber pile. Thicking of the bottom provide tiny joint for the body and the footings. Guangzhou is a coastal city which alongs with typhoon. To maintain the structure stable during the shaking, a triangle metal pipe will be fixed in the middle of the legs.
