Do you worry about your kids? Do you find yourself overwhelmed with anxiety and fear about their lives? Do you struggle with knowing when to hold on, when to let go, how to discipline and how to guide them? Experience the freedom, peace, hope & joy that comes from praying for your children… when you take the time to thank God for who they are, and surrender every aspect of their lives to Him. This is one of the
greatest gifts you can give your children. You will never regret the time you spend in prayer for them. Not only will your children’s lives change, but you will be changed too!
How to Get Started Don’t be afraid to dive in. Keep it simple!
This prayer companion doesn’t have to be perfect. You can continue to revise and update it as you go along.
Step One:
Gather your thoughts.
Take time to reflect on each one of your children. Ask God to guide you and trust that He will. He chose YOU to be their mother, which means He has given you the eyes to see them for who they really are – their best and worst selves.

Write down their gifts and talents – every single one you can think of. If you’re like me and are afraid of messing up, jot them down on a separate piece of paper before transferring them to your binder. You may even want to ask your child what they think their gifts and talents are. If you are married, feel free to invite your husband into this process as well. Follow the same process with their weaknesses, struggles, and needs for growth.
Step Two:
Start praying
This prayer companion is meant to be a practical guide to inspire you and empower you to pray for your children on a regular basis. Each child’s page is designed to be able to be prayed in 10-15 minutes. So don’t be intimidated or overwhelmed and think you have to pray for every child every day! Perhaps you can assign one day a week to each child. You can pray anytime, anywhere! At home, during your lunch break at work, or even while you exercise! There is no right way – just find what works best for you and your schedule.
Are you a grandmother, or a godmother? These pages can be used for your grandchildren and godchildren too.
Step Three:
See the Fruit
The sooner you start, the sooner you will begin to see the abundant fruit of your prayers… both in your child’s life and your own.
I’m joining you in this prayer journey -- praying that God would richly bless your efforts to pray for your children!
Let’s enjoy the fruit together!

For my family…

For this reason, I kneel before You,Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth derives its name. I pray that out of Your glorious riches You may strengthen us with power through Your Spirit in our inner being, so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith. And I pray that we, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge – that we may be filled to the measure of the stature of the fullness of God. Now to You who are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us,to You be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus ©JennyKlement

When we call upon You and come and pray to You, You will listen to us. We will seek You and find You when we seek You with all our hearts. You will be found by us.” (Jeremiah 29:11-14)
