Lollipop Designs is the London based studio behind an award winning collection of home and stationery products, set up in 2007 by designer Rachel Le Mesurier. Lollipop combine organization, playfulness and style in products like their brightly animated origami notelets and best-selling line-up of planners. A range of bone china tableware and origami napkins are the most recent addition to the Lollipop Designs collection. Lollipop Designs created a loyal following thanks to their well-received collection of planners and their very first, very pretty year planner in 2010 and the original Weekly Planner Pad launched a year later. Lollipop planners enable the busy and style-conscious clever, practical ways to keep things moving along smoothly. Central design themes include the passing and recording of time, calendars, stars, constellations and nature. Stemming from Rachel’s background in packaging design, Lollipop products are tactile and nudge you to open, fold, look, arrange, use, treasure and smile. About Rachel: Before setting up Lollipop, Rachel worked as a graphic designer for studios in London and Melbourne. In 2002 she went freelance and subsequent work includes branding and packaging projects for larger companies such as Virgin Drinks and Tetley as well as smaller start-ups and independent businesses. Between 2003-5 she worked on the Teapigs brand - creating the logo and packaging illustrations and concepts - all still in use today. Other clients include the beautiful anglo-french boutique Cachette, a complete web redesign and new gift packaging for the amazing POP Bakery and more recently branding and interior design for the new specialty coffeebar KOA in Exmouth Market

home party platters These fine bone china platters are large - measuring almost 35cm round they come supplied with a matching cookie cutter and recipe booklet in a beautiful gift box. They are decorated by hand with real gold details in Stoke-on-Trent We designed these as heirloom peices, a plate to be treasured and displayed and handed down generations - to be used for special occasions like a birthday tea - or Christmas entertaining or a ‘good news’ celebration... Bringing out ‘the platter’, making the cookies and arranging them becomes part of the ritual of celebration. Two designs currently available - Moon and Stars (with star-shape cutter) and the Bella platter (with circular cutter) where the cookies become part of her hairstyle.

grid tableware This playful new dinner service from Lollipop celebrates traditional ceramic decoration process. Lollipop’s bone-china collections are produced in one of the factories in Stoke-onTrent, the traditional home of British potteries and where transfer printing was perfected in the late 1700’s. Whole sheets of transfer paper are screen printed and then cut using scissors into strips which are wrapped and applied around the plates. After firing, the front of the plates show a nearperfect strip of grid print but turn the plate over and you can see where the sheet was wrapped around creating an interesting and unique pattern on the reverse. Different plate pairings and angles create endless fun combinations. Sold as gift boxed pairs with dinner and side plate (28/20cm) to be mixed and matched - or a complete set of eight (unboxed).

surprise popping pins
One of our best childhood holiday memories was putting a euro in a vending machine and a bright shiny capsule rolling out - popping it open to find the toy inside. We have created an ever-expanding range of enamel pins, both our own designs and collaborations with other designers and illustrators. The pin is packaged in a capsule - pop the capsule open to find out which Surprise Pin you have - you can then either swap the pin or keep on popping capsules to build up your collection. Inside the capsule is the pin, a boiled sweet (natural colours and flavours) and a cute little flyer with some sweet DIY ideas on ways you can reuse your capsule.... e.g. make a hanging decoration, mini terarium, catch-a-ball game... The capsules come packed in a biodegradable cello bag with tabtop - for larger orders we can supply the capsules loose (perhaps to be used in your own vending machine) and a range of point-sale material. All orders will come with examples of the pins for you to display.
