Sisulu's latest opinion piece an exercise in paltering.

An exercise in paltering. The reason why black Africans should reject Ms Lindiwe Sisulu’s latest opinion piece published in the Mail and Guardian. Since the dawn of democracy Ms Sisulu has been part of the ruling political elite. Ruling ngoba since her father passed & 1994 elections the @MYANC has had black Africans under their thumb. They have not hesitated to “gaslight”, outright lie and manipulate Africans in this white land. Vandag she writes like a disempowered and ordinary South Africa. One who has not wined and dined like the billionaires she chastisies…ungazodlala ngathi dade wethu ngoba wazi ukuthi siyahlupheka. She belongs to the same class of people she attempts to distance herself from. So, if those are her people, all that which she accuses them of- she too is guilty of…Qha Qwababa! Her latest piece is an exercise in the art of deception- reject it outright MNTU ONSUNDU. You have too much on your plate “managing poverty”. I have nothing personal against her, in fact if I was not fat from eating empty carbs. I would ask her for her “old dresses” ngoba I think on the foot she might be bigger than my “Italian” size 38? I have not seen her bag game so I will not go there. That said let me illustrate my point with a few pictures below:

In 2014 it was still possible to quantify the number of houses built in the period prior. Below is part of a foreword she contributed: See below.

If you were not keeping up with the testimony of the Zondo Comminssion in the past few years. Social media was abuzz when the MEC for Human Settlement in the Free State could not articulate the number of houses built with all of the money that was spent. Albeit the period of crazy spending as mentioned fell outside of the minister’s tenure as it happened in 2010 to 2011, did we get a perfectly edited opinion piece from the lady comrade condemning this type of management from her now department…DOLOLO. In 2013 while Adv. Thuli Madonsela was still a practioner of law and not having pivoted into an academic said the following about our now-radical-fighter:

The principles which she foregrounds today as the foundation of abhorrence for the current state of affairs are mentioned above. What change madam Sisulu? Back in 2013 you were looking back and celebrating the “sound policy framework”. I assume these include the same Constitution that now irks you. How is it that now in 2022, you decry the exclusion of the people from land? Indeed, if we still had access to land, we would not be totally sick at the hands of white capital reduced to a unit of labour and productivity. We are #ZandileChristmasMafe -landless-hungry-homeless. Indeed, we are beneficiaries of grants and NGO charity. Your comrades and confidants land us here- Susintlonta! Maybe ngiyaphapha in 2019, you promised the below:

Has it happened or sisaqhuba? Our’s is a precarious situation of squatters who are tolerated. Do you and your comrades have the courage to turn this around? Here you are writing your opinion piece for publication in the Mail & Guardian- who owns this newspaper kanene? Haai sorry ngiyawu cima lowombuzo. These things of ownership can get messy…maybe a simple question would be who edits said newspaper? So you see nawe ngokwakho, as distinguished as you are and politically connected as you are still run to white power to help you out? The job of changing this was entrusted to you and your comrades by millions of Africans on this territory…you failed us. Don’t get offended when I request that you spare me the lecture and attacking black-instant millionaires and billionaires. How many did you manage to create while spending with abondance as the political head of “human settlement”? In 2020, I buried my brother. Do you know he used to drive from SOWETO to Free State chasing the crazy housing tenders, he was told were available that side? We would begrudgedly “qongqotha” our last cents helping him cover petrol in chasing these

illusive dreams. It was only after reading the Zondo Commission Report that I came to gain some glimpse of what they were chasing in these illusive contracts. Fight your battles with your NEC or is it president but please leave us alone. Confront the judiciary as you wish but don’t do so by co-opting black pain and suffering…this is a bun fight of the elite. A fight of those who are black and have a lot because they have benefited since 1994, the rest we are managing our respective dicey situations. HOT OFF THE PRESS: Uzwile eMdantsane houses are washed away because of the heavy rains? You have young people around you ask them to show you some pictures on social media. The face of poverty in South Africa remains black, African and Female – that’s me and yes, I am angry. *Anger shelters Fear!* Credit: https://www.dpsa.gov.za/article.php?id=226 https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20171114-the-disturbing-art-of-lying-by-telling-the-truth https://www.sabcnews.com/sabcnews/over-5200-houses-built-in-2010-free-state-housing-project/ https://www.news24.com/news24/SouthAfrica/News/sisulu-vows-her-dept-will-be-the-firstexpropriator-of-state-owned-land-20190709
