Recently Linda held a clinic gaining much of the public’s attention. Ian Miller, “Captain Canada”, was hosted by Linda at Sprucehaven Farm to discuss his Olympic experiences, his business success and overcoming obstacles. The clinic was a great educational experience for attendees and acted two-fold as a fundraiser for the Canadian Cancer Society. London Horse Sport would like to recognize Linda’s contributions to the equestrian community by naming her London Horse Sports' Horse Person Of The Month for May 2010.

Favourite Horse Movie: Sylvester Favourite Celebrity Horse & Rider: Secretariat (amazing athlete - I hear there is a movie coming out this fall about him!) and David O'Connor another amazing athlete with an ability to bring out the best in our Canadian Team! Piece of Equipment I Couldn't Live Without: My HELMET! Too many head injuries with this sport! First Horse/Pony Ever Ridden: A wonderful teacher and pet - a 13 hh Shetland pony named PENNY Future Goal As An Equestrian: To compete at First Level dressage this year with my Trakhener mare Danzig, and upgrade to training level eventing this spring and do a Preliminary horse trial in the fall.
