Welcome to Conducting Science, the LPO’s very first concert hall laboratory! We’ll be exploring sound – how it’s made, the musicians who make it and how you hear it. Get ready for some fantastic brain-fizzing facts, extremely exciting experiments and magnificent mind-blowing music! So get your safety goggles on, straighten up your white lab coat and make sure you have a straw oboe to hand ready to perform with the London Philharmonic Orchestra (only when the conductor brings you in, of course!) We hope you enjoy the show! You can get your straw oboe from one of the Southbank Centre hosts or from The Clore Ballroom on Level 2.
